Rooted in Community Sponsorship Campaign
In a healthy forest, no tree stands alone. Root systems interweave beneath the soil, fungi carry nutrients across vast distances, and the vitality of one organism strengthens the flourishing of many. Nature offers a blueprint for healing: survival and growth happen through connection, reciprocity, and care.
Sana Healing Collective was founded on this understanding.
At Sana Healing Collective, we believe psychedelic-assisted therapy and holistic mental health care should not be privileges reserved for the wealthy or well-connected. Through our Community Care Fund (CCF), we work to remove financial, cultural, and systemic barriers to care, centering communities most impacted by systemic oppression and the War on Drugs, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+ individuals, low-income community members, and survivors of criminalization.
As we celebrate five years of community-rooted healing, we are seeking mission-aligned sponsors to commit to renewable one-year sponsorships that will help sustain and expand this work.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to strengthen and grow the Community Care Fund, allowing Sana to provide accessible psychedelic-assisted therapy, Harm Reduction services, community programming, and holistic healing opportunities to more individuals who otherwise could not afford care.
Through this sponsorship initiative, we aim to:
Expand Access to Care
Grow the Community Care Fund so that a greater percentage of Sana clients can receive reduced-fee or fully funded services in the coming year, ensuring healing remains accessible to those most impacted by inequity.Deepen Community Roots
Strengthen partnerships with local organizations, mutual aid networks, grassroots leaders, and aligned practitioners in Humboldt Park and beyond to ensure care reaches historically underserved communities.Support Community-Led Healing Models
Invest in nonprofit, justice-oriented, and harm reduction-based approaches to psychedelic care that prioritize collective wellbeing over corporate profit.Repair Harms Caused by the War on Drugs
Provide direct support and pathways to healing for individuals and communities disproportionately harmed by punitive drug policies and systemic oppression.Grow the Next Generation of Practitioners
Expand Sana’s role as a training and mentorship space for healers grounded in community care, equity, Harm Reduction, and social justice.Expand Education and Harm Reduction Efforts
Increase access to community education, outreach, integration support, and public programming that promotes safer, more informed approaches to healing and substance use.Strengthen Organizational Sustainability
Build diverse, renewable funding streams that allow Sana to sustainably grow its services, team, and community impact without relying solely on clinical revenue.Contribute to the Broader Field
Share insights from five years of community-based practice through advocacy, collaboration, education, and research to help shape a more equitable future for psychedelic-assisted therapy nationally.

Ready to support accessible psychedelic-assisted therapy?
It takes a community to grow a community.
Rooted in Community was created with the belief that healing is not sustained by a few large contributions alone. Like a healthy ecosystem, it depends on many forms of support—large and small, visible and behind the scenes.
Not everyone can become a sponsor. But everyone who believes in accessible, community-centered healing can help us grow.
Individuals can support the Rooted in Community Campaign in three ways:
1) Help us make our space more accessible
One of our biggest dreams for Sana's expanded community space is to install a chairlift, making our lower-level programming accessible to people with mobility needs. This would help remove a physical barrier to participation in therapy, workshops, yoga, educational programming, and community events.
2) Help us create a space that reflects our community
We're also raising funds for a community-centered art installation that will bring beauty, creativity, and connection into the alcove that welcomes you to our community space. We envision collaborating with local artists and community members to create something that reflects the spirit of care, resilience, liberation, and belonging that grounds our work.
3) Directly support the Community Care Fund
And, of course, donations can also directly support our Community Care Fund, which helps reduce financial barriers to psychedelic-assisted therapy and other services for people who might otherwise be unable to access care.
