Virtual Meditation Wednesdays at Sana Healing Collective

Join us for our weekly meditation series, facilitated by Lakshmi Athota, MD!

Our weekly meditation gathering blends practices rooted in non-duality and mindfulness. We will explore a variety of practices focused on open awareness to compassion, resting as being, and healing ground practices. No experience necessary; all are welcome.

Each session follows a simple arc:

  • Opening: a voluntary brief check-in (just a word or phrase for what’s here with you right now, spoken or in the chat), followed by gentle movement or body sensing to arrive

  • Guided meditation practice with intention: the heart of our time together

  • Closing and Integration: 5 -10 minutes of writing or drawing to let the practice integrate, closing with a voluntary brief share of what’s alive for you in the moment

How to prepare

Find a comfortable space—somewhere with minimal distraction, and any props that support you for our time together (chair or mat, pillow, blanket, blocks, bolster) along with writing or drawing supplies.

Materials: Anything that helps you settle in and supports your own practice without pulling away from our shared container is welcome.

We invite you to put your phone on Do Not Disturb for the hour so you can be fully present with yourself and the group.

To deepen the container, we encourage you to join with your camera on, even if you’d rather look away from the screen.

This group is for you whether you’re new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner. Practicing in community can deepen and enrich our individual practice. The power of Sangha/community is in being held and witnessed alongside others on this path.
