Psychedelic Safety, Support, & Integration - Chicago and Sana Healing Collective are excited to announce a big event in collaboration with the Global Psychedelic Society (GPS) and the Zendo Project — a leader in psychedelic peer support education.
Join us to receive live training from the Zendo Project’s Programs Director, Jessa Hurst, and learn how to support others through challenging psychedelic experiences with skill, presence, and care.
This workshop will introduce the four Principles of Psychedelic Harm Reduction from the Zendo Project:
✔️Safe space
✔️Sitting, not guiding
✔️Through, not down
✔️Difficult is not necessarily bad
We'll go beyond theory with interactive elements like role-play scenarios and listening exercises to help ground these principles in real-world peer support.
The GPS is streaming this workshop exclusively to in-person watch party events hosted by local Psychedelic Societies like ours around the world. They will also be providing us with prompts to continue engaging with one another after the workshop.
Whether you're interested in harm reduction, part of a sitting or psychedelic integration group, or just want to learn how to support others in their psychedelic journeys more effectively, this event is for you. Come learn from these psychedelic harm reduction experts and connect with your local psychedelic care community here in Chicago!
Time: 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm CST
Location: Sana Healing Collective, 3324 W North Avenue, Chicago, IL
