Psychedelic Futures is a a free, biweekly meeting to connect people with an interest in psychedelics. We welcome you to join us in growing the psychedelic community in Chicago. All are welcome - from clinicians to enthusiasts to the psychedelic-curious! We will discuss the past and future of psychedelics in our society, sometimes using readings as our guide and sometimes our own personal experiences. The first sessions will be led by UChicago anthropologist and Sana intern, Lorna Hadlock.

We will meet on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month (November 23rd at Sana, and December 19th virtually).

Sounds of Sana Album Launch and Community Care Fund Benefit Concert

Our intention with the Sounds of Sana Album Launch and Community Care Fund Benefit Concert is to bring our community into our healing work in a unique and hyper local way. With music being a major part of what connects us as humans, and an integral part of our work at the clinic, we invite you to experience the gifts of Chicago-based artists from our own communities as they explore new ways of supporting healing through creative expression.

The collaborative curation and creation of the music on this album mirrors our collaboration with our participants and community members. As we co-create a space of healing that is reflective and responsive to their needs and preferences, we honor the ways music supports us through all of life’s transitions.

This event and album also serves as an opportunity for our community to give back and ensure that everyone who has a need for healing can access it here at Sana Healing Collective.

We aim to raise $30,000 to benefit our Community Care Fund

Sana Inaugural Speaker Series - A Conversation with Bill Richards at Sana Healing Collective

We are thrilled to announce the launch of an inspiring new interview series featuring some of the most prominent leaders in the field of psychedelic harm reduction, therapy, and research. This groundbreaking series aims to deepen our understanding of the healing potential of psychedelics and highlight the importance of safe, responsible use.

Proceeds from these exclusive interviews will go directly to the Sana Healing Collective Community Care Fund. Your support will help us provide crucial resources and care for individuals and communities in need.

Sana Healing Collective is thrilled to host a conversation about psychedelics with William (Bill) Richards! Aside from being a teacher and mentor to several members of the Sana team, he is author of the book Sacred Knowledge and has been a psychologist in the Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research who contributed to psychedelic research in Germany (1963-1964) and at the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (1967-1977). In 1999 he and Roland Griffiths initiated the rebirth of psychedelic research at Johns Hopkins, and he is currently focused on the use of psychedelics in palliative care at Sunstone Therapies.

Join us for a conversation on psychedelic-assisted therapy, psychedelic-facilitated spiritual and religious experiences, and philosophical frameworks for understanding alternative states of human consciousness.

KETAMINE-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY (KAP) CONSULTATION GROUP

KETAMINE-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY (KAP) CONSULTATION GROUP

Sana Healing Collective invites you to our 6-month Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Consultation Group inaugural cohort. Our purpose in offering this group is to help therapists develop their skills and confidence in combining psychotherapy with ketamine.

We will meet online via Zoom for 90-120 minutes each month for 6 months beginning in July 2024.

The group is geared toward mental health professionals who have already worked in a ketamine-assisted therapy format, with the understanding that there is no single agreed-upon format.

For the sake of eligibility for the group, we will define KAP at minimum as providing at least one preparation session, being present to process the ketamine session immediately after the ketamine experience (if not also in the room for the ketamine dosing), and at least some amount of integration work at subsequent appointments. We are not at this time considering take-home ketamine work to meet this criteria.

Eligible practitioners will have worked with a minimum of 3 KAP clients and completed a minimum of 10 KAP sessions. We will give registration priority to clinicians who have attended KRIYA Conference or completed a psychedelic-assisted therapy/KAP training program. The KAP Consultation Group will be facilitated by Geoff Bathje, PhD and Vilmarie Fraguada Narloch, PsyD. Special guest presenters with significant experience in KAP will also join.

The content will include case presentations from participants, discussions of clinical/legal/ethical issues, and guidance/mentorship from the facilitators.

Minimum number of participants will be 5, and maximum number of participants will be 10 to ensure that everyone can participate actively.

If the group consists of 6 members or less, the meeting time will be shortened to 90 minutes. If the group has 7-10 members, the group will meet for 120 minutes to allow for adequate time.

The cost for the package, including CE's, will be $900. We are looking forward to meeting and learning from one another as we all contribute to forging this new paradigm of care. Coming together in community is one of the greatest medicines available to us.

The dates for the group are as follows, all starting at 5:00 pm central time:

July 29th, 2024

August 26th, 2024

September 30th, 2024

October 28th, 2024

November 18th, 2024

December 9th 2024
